  Welcome to NMCC  
  The Chamber has completed 5 decades of glorious and effective service by contributing to the developmental activities of the region under the dynamic leadership of our Past Presidents. Some of the stalwarts who started the Chamber and led it were Shri.Samuel Aaron, Shri. Haridas Govardhanandas, Shri.A.K.Kaderkutty Saheb and Shri.A.K.Nair. The Chamber has been able to involve in several activities relating to the industrial and commercial field of North Malabar. The Chamber in particular took up various programmes, which were in one way or other beneficial to the whole of the society in general, and traders and industrialists. Projects, which act as a catalyst for the overall development of Kannur has taken up by the Chamber. The Kannur International Airport is one of the pet projects taken up by the Chamber from 1984.Our views had been only on the basis of merit, and its benefit to the sector for which we stand for and the spirit of uncompromising attitude and effort for the development of North Malabar in general, has earned much appreciation and acclaim for our Chamber from all walks of life. The Chamber has its say in all important socio-economic matters in North Malabar.  
     
  The NMCC stands affiliated to FICCI, South Indian Chamber of Commerce and keeps in touch with all the Chambers functioning in various parts of India and abroad. We are on the list of invitees of various departments of the Government of Kerala and Government of India such as finance, tourism,industries, labour etc., for their programmes. The Chamber has also representation in Government of India Advisory Committees like Central Excise,Income Tax,Railways,Telecommunication,Textile Committee etc
