SERVICES       1. To issue Certificates of Origin for the exporters. 2. To issue certificates to obtain Visa for the members for visiting other countries for  business purpose. 3. To identify the problems of the traders and industrialists and to submit memorandum to  the Government  etc. for redressal of grievances. 4. To work as a nodal agency between the investors of various parts of the country  and also from abroad and the Government concerned. 5.  To help in identifying the projects and preparing the project reports for new  industrialists  and traders. 6.  To help in getting licenses and other formalities for setting up of new industrial units. 7.  To help in getting registration, license etc. for export and import matters.  8.  To render advices on Import-Export policies.  9.  To render advises on Central Custom Tariffs. 10. To render legal advices on trade and commerce to the members. 11. To collect and circulate statistics and other information, legal opinion, Government Circulars and orders on employment, trade, industry etc. 12. To render advices on Income Tax, Central Excise, Sales Tax,Service Tax, etc. 13. To render financial assistance to the people who seek assistance for treatment. 14. To award scholarships to the children of the members for their excellence in public examinations. 15. To give Awards to the best industrialists and traders. 16. To Award scholarships to the children of weavers in Kannur district, in association with  A.K. Nair Memorial Endowment. 17. 17.
